I have noticed lately that when I go to Google News that any pictures of President Bush are of him with his head tilted, and looking like some kind of retarded dog. Many people these days will make some comment about how he looks retarded because he is. That isn't something I'm willing to accept, but who can really blame them after what the American media has done in the lead up to the next election. Not to mention the fact that after seven years of Bush, there are few people who still support him.
President Bush easily has the most difficult job in the world. Consider that no matter what he does, there is going to be a large percentage of the population that will want to hang him for it because of the Iraq invasion. I used to be a Bush supporter, and am still a registered Republican, but find myself often at odds with his decisions. The thing I think about is even though I don't really care for his policies anymore, I'm not going to bash the man too much. He has a job that I wouldn't take for fifty times what he gets paid, and when you look at the compensation for the job, the perks aren't really worth it either. It seems very obvious that in his second term, President Bush has either gone completely off the deep end, or more likely, has become the puppet of his financial backers. I'm not sure if that holds try for everything he does, but it seems that way for nearly every domestic issue.
